Housing options and general information

Choose between two housing options

At Blekholmstorget, you can choose between two types of housing depending on your preferences:

Private apartment
A fully furnished apartment with your own kitchen and bathroom.
Rent is around 12,000 SEK per month.

This option gives you a quiet, independent space while still being part of a student building. Shared facilities like laundry rooms, study spaces, and common areas are available to everyone.

Private room in shared apartment
A furnished bedroom in an apartment shared with two other DIS students.
Rent ranges from 6,000 to 9,000 SEK per month, depending on size and location.

You share the kitchen and living space, which naturally brings people together—whether that’s for cooking dinner, planning weekend trips, or just catching up after class.

Life at Blekholmen happens both inside and outside your apartment. Students gather in shared spaces, organize dinners, and spend time together in the city. Some nights are quiet, others turn into long conversations around a table.

Södermalm

At Södermalm, a short walk from Hornstull T-bana, you will live in student apartments in a neighborhood known for its cafés, small shops, and waterfront paths. It’s easy to step outside and find a place to study, meet friends, or explore, while still having a comfortable space to come home to.

Årsta

At Sköntorpsvägen, you will live in a private studio with your own bathroom and share everyday spaces with others. There is also a café on the ground floor. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Gullmarsplan, with a bus stop right outside. With everything included in the rent, it’s an easy place to settle in and feel at home in Stockholm.
